Love The Simple Things In Life

This tutorial was made and written of my own design. Any similarities to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.

Supplies Needed
Tube of choice: I used the artwork of LegioStudio. His website is here. I downloaded this tube for free from TheZoneGroups. You must register to use this site. Here.
Scrapkit of choice: I used a Valentine Freebie from ScrappinGramma. Website is here. This is a full size kit.
Mask of Choice: I used a From The Heart mask by Chas. I am unsure of where I downloaded this mask from. If it's yours or you know where it came from let me know please so I can give proper credit.
Font of choice: Before The Rain for the name & 2 Peas Hearts Delight.
Template of choice: I used a template from Alexis' Template Palace. It is called Love. You can see her blog here.

Let's Get Started

Open template. 
Erase credits layer, the font layers, & the heart shapes.
Make canvas size 800x800. I like a larger workspace. You can resize later. 
New raster layer. Flood fill white. Drag to bottom.
Open paper 4. Copy.
Starting with the squares.
Select square background layer in side bar.
Using magic wand select square background in workspace.
New raster layer.
Paste paper into selection.
Select none. 
Delete template layer.
Repeat for the remaining 2 squares.
Open paper 7. Copy.
With the square frames.
Select frame in side bar.
With magic wand, select frame in workspace. 
New raster layer.
Paste paper into selection.
Select none.
Delete template layer. 
Repeat for the remaining 2 frames.
Add drop shadow of choice.
Open paper 3.Copy.
Select rectangle background in side bar.
With magic wand, select rectangle in workspace.
New raster layer.
Paste paper into selection.
Select none.
Delete template layer.
Repeat same step for circle.
Open paper 7. Copy.
Select rectangle frame in side bar.
With magic wand, select rectangle frame in workspace.
New raster layer.
Paste paper into selection.
Select none.
Delete template layer.
Add drop shadow of choice.
Repeat same step for circle frame.
Open staple. 
Copy and paste to work space.
Down size to your liking.
Position to your liking.

Duplicate and postion to your liking.
See example again.
Merge down. 
Add drop shadow of choice.
Duplicate staples.
Postion to your liking. 
See my example.
Open tube.
Copy and paste to workspace. 
Downsize to your liking.
Position into small squares.
See my example.
Select paper layer in side bar.
With magic wand, select paper layer in workspace.
Select tube in side bar.
Selections>Invert>Delete
Select none.
Add drop shadow of choice.
Set layer property to luminance legacy on tube.
Repeat same steps for other 2 squares.
Placing tubes to desired position.
Paste tube to workspace.
Downsize to your liking.
Position above all layers.

Add drop shadow of choice.
With 2 Peas Delight font
Create title.
Add drop shadow of choice.
Open paper 4. 
Copy and paste to workspace.
Drag to bottom.
Add mask.
Merge group.
Resize to 440x440. This is the size for forums I use them on. Resize to your liking.
Add name. 
Add Copyright. 
Done.

Steampunk

Mask of choice: I used a mask from Creative Misfits. Their blog can be found here.
Font of choice: I used Honey Script
Tube of choice: I used the artwork of Caron Vinson. You must have a license to use this artwork. You can purchase it here.

Let's Get Started
Open your frame.
Change your canvas size to 800x800. I like a larger workspace. You can resize later.
New raster layer. Drag below frame layer.
Flood fill white.
Select your frame layer in side bar.
With magic wand, select the inside of frame.
Selections>Modify>Expand
Open your paper 3. Copy
New raster layer.
Rt click, paste into selection. Select none.
Drag below frame layer.
Add drop shadow of choice to frame.
***I expanded as large as I could. Pasted my paper and than erased any excess around the edge.***
Open tube. 
Copy and paste.
Position tube into desired spot. 
See my example.
Select paper layer in side bar.
With magic wand, select paper layer in workspace.
New raster layer.
Select tube layer.
Selections>Invert>Delete
Select none.
Add drop shadow of choice to tube.
Change property layer to luminence legacy on tube.
Copy and paste tube.
Postion above frame.
See my example.
Duplicate frame layer. 
Move duplicate above tube.
Erase parts of the frame covering tube except where legs are hidden by duplicate frame.

Add drop shadow of choice to tube.
Open paper 4. Drag to bottom of all layers.
Add mask of choice. Merge group.
Resize.
I resize to 440x440 pixels for the forum I use them on.
Add name.
Add copyright.

Let's Get Started

Open your template.
Change canvas size to 800x800. I like a larger work space. You can resize later.
Create a new raster level. Move to bottom of template. Flood fill white.
Remove the credits and all layers, but the 2 back rectangles and frames, the middle rectangle and frame and the center square and frame.
Starting with the 2 back rectangles and frames. 
With magic wand, select the back rectangle frames. 
New raster layer.
Flood fill with color of choice. Select none. 
Erase template layer. 
Add texture effect if desired.
Open block 6. Copy.
With magic wand, select backs of rectangles.
New raster layer. Rt click, paste into selection. Select none.
Erase template layer.
Add drop shadow of choice to frames.
With magic wand, select middle rectangle frame.
New raster layer.
Flood fill with color of choice. Select none.
Erase template layer.
Add texture effect if desired. 
Open paper 6. Copy
With magic wand, select back of rectangle. 
New raster layer, rt. click, paste into selection. Select none.
Erase template layer.
Add drop shadow of choice to frame.
With magic wand, select square frame.
New raster layer.
Flood fill with color of choice. Select none.
Erase template layer.
Add texture effect if desired.
Open block 9. Copy.
With magic wand, select back of square.
New raster layer, Rt click, paste into selection. Select none.
Add blinds effect if desired.
Erase template layer.
Add drop shadow of choice to square frame.
Paste tube of choice. Mirror. 
Drag below square frame.
Position into desired postion.
Select paper layer in side bar.
With magic wand, select middle paper.
Select your tube layer in side bar.
Selections>invert>delete. Select none.
Add drop shadow of choice to tube.
Set layer property to Luminance Legacy and the opacity to 60.
Open flower cluster. 
Drag to top of square frame.
Downsize to size you desire. 
Add drop shadow of choice. 
Open glossy button 2.
Downsize and position in desired spot.

Duplicate>Mirror.
Merge down.
Add drop shadow.
Open tube. 
Copy and paste to workspace. 
Downsize and postion to desired spot.

Add drop shadow of choice.
Open sequins.
Copy and paste to workspace.
Drag to bottom layer. Position in desired spot. Erase any excess.

Add drop shadow of choice.
Open your wordart.
Copy and paste to workspace.
Downsize and position into desired spot.

Resize.
I resize to 440x440 pixels for the forums that I use them on.

I Love My Dog (Cat)

Mask of Choice: I used a mask I believe was already programmed in my PSP. If I am mistaken, please let me know.
Font of choice: I used Throw My Hands Up In The Air

Let's Get Started

Open a new raster layer 800x800. I like lots of room to work and will resize later. Flood fill white.
Open frame 18. Copy and paste. Rotate frame to your liking.
Open frame 12. Copy and paste above first frame. Rotate frame to your liking.
Select frame 18 layer. 
Using colors from the kid, flood fill each square with a different color.
Select frame 12.
Repeat same steps.
If you would like, add a texture to your flood fills. 
I used Hatch Fine.
Use drop shadow of choice to your frames. 
I used 3,3,80,8
Open your tube. 
Copy and paste to your work space. 
Downsize your tube to your liking.
Place various parts of the tube in each square. 
I highligted different features of the dog. Eyes, nose, tail, etc. 
Do this for both frames.

Add drop shadow of choice. 
Use a layer property of Luminance Legacy on the parts of the tubes you used in the frames.
Open element 50.
Copy and paste to work space.
Position to your liking.
Duplicate and move copy underneath frame.
Select original tag layer.
Erase to your liking. See my example.
Open element 54. Mirror.
Copy and paste. 
Repeat same step above for the other frame.
Open element 55. 
I erased all but one paw print. 
Copy and paste. 
Layered on my tag. Add drop shadow.
Open element 59.
Repeat same step for other tag. 
Open element 10.
Copy and paste to workspace.
Downsize to your liking.
Using my example, place above second frame.
Using desired colors for your font.
Type up I & My Dog. 
Use my example to see placement.
Open up your tube.
Place to your liking. 
Add drop shadow.
Open paper 19.
Copy and paste to your work space.
Move below all elements.
Add your mask of choice. Merge group.
I resize my tags to 440x440 pixels for the forums I use them on.
Resize your tag to your liking. 
Add name.
Add Copyright and license info.
